住在糖果屋的玻璃作家 - Miwa Ito
集可愛、怪誕、甜美於一身，Miwa Ito 的作品不像學院派般工整細膩，這些東歪西倒的小酒杯、果凍般的盤子，其隨意型態與漂亮配色都來自即興創作，每件作品就只有獨特的一件。
Miwa Ito 來自大阪，就讀京畿大學時開始對玻璃藝術十分著迷，畢業後即遠赴比利時及美國深造。因為自小熱衷於動漫、玩具與流行文化，Miwa 希望能將可愛的力量注入作品中，讓玻璃藝術變得更好玩，2016年正式開展玻璃作家生涯。由於所有作品都是親手製作，自從知名度飆升後 Miwa 已無法應付大量需求，現只能透過抽選方式不定期販售作品。
Miwa Ito 現於日本著名玻璃工坊 GGG Glassblowing Studio 擔任常駐玻璃作家。
Like a glass artist living in a candy house, Miwa Ito’s work is filled with cuteness, quirkiness and fantasy. Unlike standardised glassware you could easily find, Miwa’s pieces are unique and carefree. The shape and color combination of each pieces is different so there is only one piece for each style. Intrigued by pop culture, vintage toys and cartoons, Miwa channeled her passion from childhood memories into her colourful and “goofy” work.
Miwa Ito is from Osaka, Japan. She became fascinated by glass art when she was studying at KINDAI University. After graduation, she went to Belgium and the United States for further studies. In 2016, she officially started her career as a glass artist. Since the work are all handmade, Miwa has been unable to cope with the large demand due to the high popularity. Lately, orders are only available through raffle.
Miwa is currently based in the famous Japanese glass workshop GGG Glassblowing Studio.
